Windlass Anchor Winches
Neumann Equipment electric and hydraulic Windlass Anchor Winch units are designed and manufactured from tough, high quality components for reliability at sea.
There are two configurations:
- Chain gypsies retrieve the chain and feed into a locker below;
- Winch drums which store the chain and rope on a winch drum.
The anchor winches can either be hydraulically or electrically driven and controlled.
The gypsy and windlasses can be manufactured with components made from a range of materials, including steel, cast iron or bronze.
Each Windlass Anchor Winch unit includes:
- Worm or bevel-helical gearbox;
- Gear or geroler style motor hydraulic motors (or optional electric drive);
- Optional fail safe brake;
- Gypsy and capstan are cast to suit your requirements;
- Heavy duty marine protective coating on all units.
The Anchor Winches can be of varying configurations:
