Neumann Equipment manufactures Chain Jaws to suit 46 mm anchor chain.
The device is designed to eliminate loading of the anchor winch by the anchor chain.
The chain can be hauled in when the jaws are closed as they are spring loaded to allow the chain to pay in. To drop anchor into deeper water the jaws must be hydraulically opened, allowing the chain to pay out freely.
All units include:
- To suit 46mm chain;
- Jaws operated hydraulically;
- Spring loaded jaws to allow chain to pay in;
- The unit can be pivoted up for maintenance;
- Fabricated from grade 250 carbon steel;
- Heavy duty marine protective coating.
