300mm Dredge Booster Pump
Neumann Equipment designs and manufactures slurry booster pumping systems.
The Tronox dredge booster was designed to pair with an existing dredge in an Australian sand mining operation to allow dredged slurry to be transported over longer distances.
It incorporates a 399kW diesel engine driving a 10X8 heavy duty slurry pump via a marine gearbox.
The unit is fitted with communications and control equipment to be controlled remotely and partially automated.
It is completely assembled upon a heavy-duty skid base with four-point lifting and towing points, allowing it to be easily positioned and maneuvered around the mine site.
The engine room is well sealed to provide good acoustic properties and keep wind-blown sand out.
The booster incorporates a FirePro chemical fire protection system internally and fire-retardant cladding to ensure compliance with local regulations.
